Due to his extensive experience in building pools, Chip made many excellent suggestions during the design and construction process. In addition, he was extremely involved in the entire construction process and made sure that each step was completed in accordance with his exacting specifications. If, upon his inspection, anything was not up to Chip’s standards, without hesitation he called the crew back to our job site to make any necessary corrections. He was also helpful in introducing us to lenders during the financing process and even in recommending a wonderful landscaper once the pool was completed.

When we met Chip at Cornerstone Pool Construction, he designed a pool concept with more features and value than the three other quotes we received, and still was the most affordable. Cornerstone was great to work with at every step. They could do anything the larger pool companies could do, yet promised to give us the attention of a smaller company. And WOW did they deliver! We got a unique design with lots of extras, and the pool was built in 8 weeks. Chip came out to the building site more times than we could count, monitoring the construction crews, answering our questions, and making sure everything was perfect.

And the service didn’t stop there: Since the pool and spa were completed, there were a couple of minor equipment problems, and Cornerstone promptly took care of it at no charge. Any questions we’ve had throughout the construction process and the time beyond have been given quick and thorough attention.

Cornerstone built us a backyard oasis, and we are in the pool almost every day. Our guests are always stunned, and after three years, we are every bit as pleased as the first day it was filled with water. If we ever build another pool, we won’t even consider another company besides Cornerstone!

On February 8, 2002 my wife and I signed with Mr. David Caldwell to construct our back yard pool. Although David’s company was new, he had many years of experience in the pool construction business. As we were doing a design as you go project for our back yard, I indicated that we may make a few changes in the decking or other appearances during construction. Unlike other companies that would require many days of delay in paper work, David said this would not be an issue with him.

After obtaining the proper permits from the City, laying out the design and obtaining our approval for size and shape, construction was started on March 2nd. Once the construction was started, contractors were scheduled by David that at times seemed aggressive but the pool was completed and filled on the 29th of March. This was a total of 4 weeks for construction when most companies take 6 to 8 weeks. All contractors used by Cornerstone Pool were professional, timely and experts within their respective fields. All work performed was properly executed and cleaned as they progressed through their work.

When searching for the company we would choose to build a pool for our family we chose Cornerstone Pools. We considered three other companies – some larger and some smaller but found this company to be the most detail oriented and best at explaining things to us in layman’s terms. In the end – with all the problems which can
occur during these processes, it was a GREAT choice.

Tom Caldwell, was very conscientious about all the details – he was present more than any other contractor we have ever dealt with. He monitored his crew at all times and saw to it that things were done exactly as they should be. We live far out from the city and in spite of the driving distance he was here watching every detail (sometimes as
much as 4 times a day!).

The suggestions he made were wonderful and he explained what we did not understand fully until we were comfortable. When a couple little things went wrong, Tom fixed it with no attitude, properly, immediately and at no charge. We can say that we found him to be very honest. He really stands behind his product.
